Does Austin's Code Compliance Division Practice What It Promises?

Austin's Division for Code Compliance's mission statement: "Our mission is to attain compliance with City codes regarding land use regulations and the maintenance of structures and premises through education, cooperation, enforcement and abatement to achieve a cleaner, healthier and safer City."\

But with the recent issues going back and forth with Weirdo's in North Austin do you think the city is acting in the interest for the public good or as the bully for big business?
