Even more fun removing the chalk...

Fun with pool chalk...

Hello, my name is Molly. For those of you keeping score at home I have beaten John at darts, pool, and rock-paper-scissors. This is my trophy.

Molly loves mountain men...

Killer tunage at the Poodle Dog...

Someone has been naughty.. Wait a second, how is Laurie giving the punishment?

Molly went to her car to grab a pool cue that she has had since she was 15. Shark? Hell yes.. (insert Jaws soundtrack)

Ok, so I lost darts to Molly... Think of it this way, even a blind man will hit a baseball if you throw enough at him. (can't believe she beat me 2 out of 3)

Of course Ginny's is more than bingo, Dale Watson plays and Lonestars are $1.50!

Laurie seeing Dewie find a winner the first time at Chicken Shit Bingo at Ginny's Lil Longhorn.

Thinking about a roll of quarters...

So I was reading David Sedaris' Naked again yesterday. I laugh so hard when I read the story about the missing silver dollars. If you have never read Naked, stop what you are doing and pick up a copy...

Did you say $1 Tecate???

That was how my afternoon really started after leaving a very relaxed day at work. I sat at El Arroyo for a bit enjoying the WiFi and cheap beer. I sent out a text to everyone seeing what was going on. Of course Laurie and Molly were up for adventures.

They met me at my apartment complex after I finished the Monday Night Football night. I will let the pics tell the rest of the story, but let me tell this part...

While we were at Beerland, I met Wilmer Vilderrama's body guard. We were chatting and then he bought us a round of Lonestars and brought Wilmer over and introduced us. See, that's how I roll - The stars come to me... LOL...

When Animals Attack!!!

I think this sums up the night..

Practicing for their day job?

I am just happy they didn't knock it over..

Yep, Fez doing it right.. Karaoke at Beerland..

Had to finish the Lonestars...

The twins... Seperated at birth, together at Beerland..

This looks worse than it is.. I was actually putting on tattoos...

Hear no evil, Speak no evil, Say no evil...

Never waste Tuaca...

Not to be outdone...

This is disturbing in so many ways..

Dancing about gelato...

I had gelato with a friend last night when I was trying to figure out what to do with my evening. Amy, who is my best friend, and I haven't had an opportunity to chat in awhile. It was nice to catch up, or wait, for her to catch up with what was going in with me... ( hey, it was MY turn...)

I gotta say her perspective is right on in so many ways. It was what the doctor ordered. I was on my way to Emo's after, and last minute, stayed home.
Why? Many reasons.. But there wasn't a reason besides seeing a show to override the others.

I stopped by Blockbuster and rented episodes of LOST. Definately the way to go.

Hurley cracks my shit up.

Last night was an odd one. Not bad but odd none the less. I was in an off mood. I should have been relaxed and happy as I took a nice power nap to the sounds of Journey. I woke up just wasn't feeling it. I even made an 80's anthology for someone I knew and couldn't get out of this funk. Mollie and I went for the evening walk and I got a Red Bull while she licked every person she saw. My dog is becoming very popular in the neighborhood.

Anywho, the funk was becoming annoying so I decided to get out and be social. Then I looked up as it was really bright for being evening and of course there is a big ol' moon shining ever so bright in the evening sky. What this picture did not show, as by the time I was done walking the dog the wind had moved them, was the clouds that had surrounded it. It was a scene that reminded me of that painting "Starry Night". The clouds had taken on the same broken halo effect as the painting portrayed.

Thanks moon. You made my night.

Oh, and a sidenote. It takes only 3 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. The owl was right. Now why would you want to finish one in 3 licks is beyond me. When I was out and talking to someone all of a sudden someone stuck one in my mouth mid sentence and told me to "Get to the center!" I did, maybe out of fear or for the challenge, and it just doesn't satisfy.

Everyone knows you have to take your time and wait until the candy shell is so thing it cracks under the pressure in your mouth. Mmm Mmm. And Cherry is the best. Orange and Chocolate not so much. Just FYI...

After a very long night of drinking, and apparently making a nieghbor mad, it was finally time to call it a night.. (or day as you see...) Can you say exhausted AND hungover?

Saturday night was a blast. I was at El Arroyo early and ran into Molly who invited me downtown with her friends. We all met up at Backstage Bar at La Zona Rosa. Molly and her friends rock and you can see why!
